CoP 2-3 (Minotaur)Follow

Ok, everywhere I look there are conflicting answers... My group killed the Minotaur, made it past the iron gate, and got the CS at the ladder. We then wiped to the 2 true sight Stegos at the top and called it a night. When we go back in to complete the mission, do we need to kill the Minotaur again, or can we just go straight back to those Stego's on the way to the puzzle torch room?

Thanks :)
Found it, though trying to solo the thing as a blm is a bit rough lol
so far three attempts have failed, I do believe I have found a method for
finishing the job.
