I have a large amount of homework due tomorrow, so naturally I'm experimenting with drinks.

Black Mage: 1.5 oz Jagermeister, 1.5 oz Blue Curacao, 3/4 ounce grenadine. Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.

White Mage: 1.5 oz Baileys, 1.5 oz strawberry vodka. Shake with ice, strain into an Old Fashioned glass. Carefully drip grenadine along the sides.

Red Mage: 2 oz Strawberry Vodka, 1 oz cranberry juice. Serve on the rocks in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a white feather.

Ranger: 1.5 oz Jagermeister, 3/4 oz green creme de menthe. Garnish with a mint leaf. Shake with ice, strain, serve in an old fashioned glass.

Bard: 1 oz blue curacao, 1 oz strawberry vodka, 4 oz Sprite, splash of grenadine to turn it violet. Serve in a highball glass.

Drunken Bard: Double the alcohol of a Bard and instead of grenadine, add a splash of red wine.

I'm pretty toasted from just the first five... so, your additions?

Surely that should be the "Spoony Bard"?

I've been a drunk bard a lot of times, but I've never quite been so wasted as to deserve "spoony" as my adjective.

Yet.

I always thought the Ranger AF hat looked like it has a pot leaf on it. Maybe substitute in place of the mint leaf?

Yeah, except not everyone has access to fresh pot Smiley: laugh Mint leaf is close enough and is available in most grocery stores.

You did want FF related though; Spoony Bard is still a classic FF line ^^

It does beg the question though, how drunk would you need to be to be called "spoony"... the mind boggles...

I thought the natural match for a Black Mage was a black cow.
The 0 proof kind- root beer, ice cream
The kind with a burden of proof ("Objection!")- kahlua, coca-cola, some kind of dairy product

Quote:
Red Mage: 2 oz Strawberry Vodka, 1 oz cranberry juice. Serve on the rocks in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a white feather.

Hmm, anyone able to make a cherry slurpee with frozen light rum or clear liquor of your choice as the ice material? Slurpees are always full of win, especially in summers like this.

Quote:
Corsair: Rum

Jingle: Bacardi and Cola!

Glad someone mentioned Corsair- straight up rum. The jingle, wouldn't that be that old tune "Rum and Coca-Cola" by the Andrews Sisters?

What would Blue Mage be?

And the Spoony Bard sounds like it should be a powerful off the wall concoction. The kind that would have you singing hanging off a pole or post.

I am an idiot when it comes to drink making but I'll take a stab at it.

2 oz. straight vodka 1 oz lemon juice a hand full of freshly crushed blueberries(Instead of juice fresh ones would stain the color towards blue more) Garnished with despair! I mean uhh uhh black rose petal or maybe a gold leaf.

Edit: we should name drink after characters too! Like Shantotto or maybe Naja Salaheem

Dynamis Lord:

You'll want a party for this.

4 oz blue curacao, 4 oz white creme de cacao, 2 oz grenadine, 4 oz triple sec, 16 oz of sprite. Put in a blender with 2 cups crush ice and blend. Serve in a fishbowl with at least four straws. (Looks purple, but tastes like chocolate, cherries, and oranges, just to mess with your head.)

In moderation, wine can help prevent Alzheimer's! Smiley: schooled

And actually, around 10% of the enzymes in the liver are capable of processing alcohol. This is because our simian ancestors would sometimes have to eat fermented fruit without dying. So as long as you don't drink more than 2 drinks a day, you won't overwhelm your liver.

Well ya see, it's like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. When the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, and making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.
