The Lamiabane is fairly easy to get, and is a ranged weapon all jobs can use. I forget if a PUP can switch out the animator or not, but there is a ranged weapon if it can be done.

There is a laundry list of things a BST would LOVE to do that a PUP can do (have a reliable magic casting pet, have more control over your pet, have a healer). Lets not forget that pretty much 17.5 other jobs would LOVE even the opportunity to fight two things at once with a pet (SMN is .5 cause SMN melee is rough), let alone using TH (because when farming, doubling killspeed >>>>>>>> TH). Are you really bitching about such a trivial thing as "punch once to land TH then move on to the next mob?" Seriously, is it THAT difficult? It MAY take you 5 seconds. sh*t, THFs had to tag 10-20 mobs in ye olde Dynamis, typically while pulling.

And "defeat the entire purpose of letting my pet fight a different mob in the first place"? Really? To farm anything thats worth it, it may take your pet 30-60 seconds to kill mob A, and 30-60 seconds for you to kill mob B. Are you honestly saying that doubling / nearly doubling your kill speed is negated by having to punch a mob once? Dont be so melodramatic.

I dont farm much on BST anymore, as I now have THF and a second account that can heal. Still, it was retarded of SE to nerf the TH on those pets. There are no THFs out there complaining about TH2 on a pet, especially if that pet cant add TH via melee hits like a THF can. There was no reason to waste energy on this when there is so many other things that need to be addressed. For example, instead of spending pointless time removing TH from BST pets, spend that time programming in the tier V BLM spells for SMN's elementals.

I'm still waiting for the scythe mastery we were promised for 5 years ago.

I don't think being put on hate list is enough to apply TH; you probably have to actually perform an action on the mob. Not sure if Deploy counts there.

Ah, if a direct action is needed then I can see what you're getting at.

Still though, is your puppet really soloing mobs from 100% down to 0% that often?
On pretty much every mob, I just wait for the puppet to proc, then I send it to start trying to proc the next mob, and end up finishing the first mob myself, since I can finish the mob much faster with a Smite/Pummel/Spiral.

They still support secondary weapons for jobs?

I thought it was pretty obvious that I was bitching purely for the sake of bitching . Melodrama has always been a big part of my shtick.



mmmm, I'm never sure about that anymore, after the way they @#%^ed with it in an attempt to nerf our hate-free nuking (For those who don't know, now you have to retrieve before the spell finishes in order for only your pet to get any hate, before, spells from the puppet simply didn't put the player on the hate list at all.)

So how is everyone enjoying Meteor?! Took them a lot of work to balance that spell...and nobody has it? XD

Guess it's either from higher tiers of Legion or the from the final VW fight they haven't even added yet lol Just as predicted, will be lucky to ever get 6 people to have the spell, let alone for it to be content that should of been discussed by the general population who will never get it.

And when they nerfed that, they forgot to make puppet actually claim with spells/abilities... wouldn't bother me otherwise but it's damn annoying to sac the puppet to clear TE from bunch of other mobs only to have some random whatever/dnc claim the TE with animated flourish the moment the other mobs have linked on pet.
