This is going to be a strange thread.
I don't want to be at the karma level I'm currently at. Blue is my favorite color. I knew this was going to happen if I posted long enough but I couldn't help myself. This was my community. I used to know everyone here. We'd have terribly intense arguments and discussions but... no hard feelings. It was a different era. Some of you are gone, some of you haven't checked back in for a long time, and some of you are still here! I know the feeling. Hell I played WoW for years then came back. But this isn't the community that I know anymore and I'd like to leave it to the newcomers. But I'd like to leave being blue.
Please, rate me down to blue. It's not a bad thing. I'll appreciate every -1. Plus, it's a very slow holiday weekend and I'm sure some of you will enjoy something departing from the current dull norm.

We're spending new year's eve in with part of a salmon and a new cocktail. Since it's a slow day, here's the recipe:
1oz tequila blanco
1oz grapefruit juice (we're using fresh squeezed)
1oz aperol (italian liquor)
[shake on ice and strain into flute]
top with champagne
garnish with lime twist
Note that if you like champagne or prosecco, Aperol makes a good companion. See also Aperol spritz.
