BFF Report - Ep 92 - Star Wars: The Old Republic (part 3)
This week on the BFF Report, Mike B takes a final look at Bioware's first MMORPG, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The focus of this episode will be PvP and Warzones.
On the topic of the resolve system, it's not necessarily as simple as it seems at first. Different CCs add a different amount of resolve. So there are choices to be made when CCing. So a snare might add 300 to resolve, while a disorient might add 500 and a stun might add 600 (random numbers). So if you have this awesome opener that does a knockdown for 1000 resolve, you need to take that into consideration vs being able to mix in 2 other CCs later. It's still not as good as WoW's setup, but could definitely be worse.
I will be going through the class/side quests with some pvp and crafting along the way. Since I will be pvping mainly at 50 anyway.
I want to experience the story like as you said Mass Effect style. Because for the most part on my alts will probably be more pvp leveling depending on the class.
On the camera issue. I totally agree with you completely. Not only on the free camera change, but the inability to disable smart camera as well as the fact that even if you set your max camera distance to zoom out farther. It will just reset the camera zoom. Quite annoying especially if you are melee.
