What is this 16bit throwback JRPG parody game doing in my stream? Well, according to Mike B, this is the hottest thing for less than a Big Gulp/corndog combo on the market right now..
this is such an awesome game and i love the retro feel to it just wish there where more turnbased rpgs like this and the early final fantasy/suikoden games. i love the battlecap it makes the game less frustrating and lengthy with all the fights thats usally popping up all the time in a game like this, again suikoden/ff fans will understand :P, and it kinda keep you in line with the bossfights if you cap every new zone you get to.
I don't know how old you really are Mike B. but I wanna say you were a young adult before I was born and I can honestly say that a retro game like this does appeal to me despite other options that are out now (not that they don't appeal to me its just this is cool too). I'll be sure to check it out on steam. Also don't be shy of bringing more like this to our attention in the future.
I come home after work with a Double Gulp of Vanilla Coke and a Quarter pound Big Bite Chili cheese dog from 7 eleven. I sit down, and read the description. Cost of my meal, $4.17. Well played sir.
Ah nice, reminds me of all the good ol' SNES rpgs I've played. :) @Nitroneo, "no more retro"? He hasn't made a BFF report on a retro game in quite a while. Even then I'm not sure if this classifies as retro since it's actually a new game with a retro look. I'd also like suggest to give Perpetuum a try on BFF report. Seems like a fitting game for it, since its an alternative to EVE online. It's not free to play sadly, so maybe it's not a good idea, but you can start a trial account.
Please, Please, Please, no more retro, I beg of you, with all the new items coming out and the availability of them in open beta... why go backwards? There must be a better way, what next playing over a dialup? LOL Good job, ahh, I guess, not that I could watch the whole thing. I'm looking forward to seeing you run around in War Inc. Battle Zone so I can own your A$$ after making me watch this!
Looks pretty good, I just don't think I have to patience to play a retro game anymore. It would be great on my netbook if I was traveling or even on a tablet (he would probably make tons o' $$ on tablet versions) but just sitting on a pc, I would never get into it ; ;
I've been waiting since that 15 MoG to play this game, but unfortunately the 360 is the only console I haven't purchased so as soon as you mentioned it was on Steam I paused to go buy it. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to truly try it, but thanks so much for doing this BBF Report and informing me of its availability.
