I love the looks of it, but alas my computer doesn't seem to be able to handle it. took a century just to load, then once ingame tons of loading snags, and then it crashed. :( It'll definitely be one of the first things I play if I get to upgrade, though.

EDIT: Turns out I -can- play this if I turn the settings way down. Still some loading weirdness here and there and a ridiculously long initial load, but at least I can give it a go.

Hi... I saw the first videos of APB and it had my attention, but it got closed before I could try it out. Now that its back I would like to try it but I looked everywhere and couldnt find the minimum system requirements. I was wondering if anybody just happens to know where to locate them or knows them. If so please just reply to this post.

So yeah I played APB for sometime. Love the customization... Looooooove it! However, not saying i'm an amazing FPS player but so many shoot outs just always ended in a slaughter with my friends and I. Everything from ridiculous shots from across the map to players "somehow" knowing exactly where you are when your hiding out around a corner.

So I went to investigate further with a couple of searches I found hundreds of aim bots / wallhackers all over youtube with dates of these posted videos all very recent. I few more searches revealed how to get these cheats that include more then just aim bots and wallhacks.

As much as I enjoy this game with my buddies I would never shell out cash for it at least until they crack down hard on all the cheating dirt bags roaming the streets.

I'm going to make this simple because I'm tired, the only cash-shop item that is (slightly) overpowered is the OCA "whisper". Officially it's just as good as a regular OCA-EW with a reflex sight 3, however, it has been proven many times that has about half the recoil of a regular OCA-EW, which doesn't make it much better in CQB but it does make it more effective at long range, which is why a lot of people think it has improved range. There's also the fact that it makes no noise at all most of the time (it has a suppressor). I agree that the game is somewhat centered around close quarters though, which may or may not suck, this is the reason I spend most of my time in the Waterfront district, a lot of long range action goes on there.

Biggest problem right now is the matchmaking, which is bad in all sorts of ways.
And Mike, unless all those guys in your group at the end were your RL buddies I think they were TK'ing you because they had joined the group hoping to play some missions, while you were farming monies :)

You're a bit wrong here. They have posted that the OCA 'Whisper' has a little bit less vertical recoil, but it supposedly also has a little bit less damage per-shot. I personally prefer my Cooling Jackets 3 (sometimes Rifling 3) / Reflex Sight 3 OCA. I think, after using both, the stock OCA is just better once you get the upgrades.

Anyone who truly plays this game at any competent level will tell you every gun has a place. You shouldn't stick to one gun, unless you're trying to role up, you should be switching depending who you are playing and where you are. I think weapon balance is in a fairly good place. After-all I consider the Star, the starting gun, one of my favorite (best) guns to use even when I have nearly every other option.

The match making is the only annoying issue right now. Anyone that has made gold threat will attest to the 2v5 and 4v8's that occur. On-top of that its near impossible to keep threat once your above gold one. I played a 28 mission win streak (in a group of 2) - only getting a threat up once, and proceeding to lose it after only a single tie game.

These, however, are issues said to be fixed in the next patch (~July 20ish). Along with numerous other mission fixes.

hehe u said lets look if there are things in the cash shop that are a bit OP well i play apd reloaded every weapon from the cashshop is OP the strongest called the whisper of death that thing is OP even in the hands of a noob it shoots faster then any other smg plus it has a silencher so u cant hear it shoot so u cant respond quick enough so i think the whisper is bull$^%#

Progress has change and its much easier now. You got Cloth,Car and Weapon contacts now so if you want to unlock all the weapons first you plegde to the gun contacts. There is recoil in the game but its still pretty much just spray n pray becouse most people use the SMGs and just have close quarter fire fights. Vechials is decent balanced, the OP on you think is a charger is the Patriot Vegas G20(More of a Camaro SS in reallife :P).

Overall there are still alot of bugs in the game and they have been in the game for quite sometime now (First noticed them in early closed beta) like people disappering and you only see a floating gun. It guns are poorly balanced, imo, close range, with close range I mean really close like face to face, a shotgun barly stands a chance against all the SMGs. Most missions where you need to hold a item has gone from "Take X item and drive around town" to "Take X item and camp" wich is pretty lame. And I dont know if the new skillbased ranking/matchmaking system is online but when I played it wasent online so I that played solo during most of the days was always matched against 3-6 players depending on there threat level but I dont know if it is still like that since I only started playing yesterday and havent done many matches.

I apologize for my bad English but it's actually my fourth language I speak:)
