Mike, the only gaming you should be using an Ipad for is table tennis.

Seriously, I couldn't watch through the complete review, it just was a very very bad WoW clone.

But in the spirit of asking for requests can we see some AAA big MMO's in there like Eve, Anarchy online, EverQuest2, Age of Conan. There are so many big MMO's out there, and it would be great to get a low down on what they are all about, especially when they actually put an effort into not being like WoW.

Should do a review on ArcheAge. Open world mmo that looks very promising that i'm holding out for. Has interactive environment, build houses, etc. Haven't been interested in any MMO since Aion. GW2, Tera, Rift....same old same old...pass.

Who was recommending Blade and Soul? If memory serves right that game isn't even out in Korea and hasn't even been announced for the U.S.

In any case, I'll recommend Eve once again and will continue to do so for all eternity! I don't recall a Forsaken World video so my vote goes for that.

Hey MikeB,
So I was listening to a recent PC gamer podcast and they had an interview with Eskil Steenburg- the creator of an indie MMO called "LOVE": a game that looks a little like Minecraft/Myst and is entirely procedurally driven. It seems like it is kind of his manifesto condemning the antisocial mindset he thinks most MMOs create. I checked out the site- you can tell its an indie title because it doesn't look like he spell checked anything.
The game itself looks really weird and complex with a very dreamy art style that I kind of dig.

One game I would really like you to review is Mortal Online. Its' been out for a year now but every forum I visit makes it sound like it is still in beta. It has some interesting concepts like being able to mix races to make custom appearances and stats as well as free form skill leveling meaning that you don't pick a class and choose which skills to level to make the character you want. Unfortunately it also seems to have pitfalls such as low content level, poor AI buggy mobs and a near impossible crafting curve. I haven't played the game myself (it being 9 GB, and me having a sadly low download limit) so I can't vouch for either the positives or negatives. I would really like to hear your opinion since you always seem to get to the meat of a game's content and really point where it is flawed and where it shines.

P.S I don't know if this will help peak your interest but it is a completely indie developed mmo, just saying no AAA interference.

Hey Mike, I know that you normally do MMO's, but I think a review of the game Arma 2 would be awesome. This game is so below the radar yet such a huge game in terms of graphics and gameplay. If you want to see sh*t get blown up and do all the stuff our military men and women do on a daily basis, from the safety of your PC, then give Arma 2 a shot. I will admit the learning curve is steep, but once you get the game, you can't stop playing it.!

OK that was eye opening. I figured it would be a couple years yet before they had any kind of functioning games for iPad, much less a functional MMO. It is definitely a selling point for me especially with the crazy low prices for subscription. :)

As far as suggestions how about age of empires online? I tried it last night and it seems to be a rather fun version. A bit cartoony in graphics but it plays very close to the game in the missions.

There is a game currently in closed beta that I've been watching for an extremely long time (before it came to the U.S. I watched videos of it), it's coming out with gpotato (also known for Aika Online and Allods online) called Prius Online, it has some potential and I'd really appreciate if you'd look into it. It seems to have some plot and Aika actually followed its plot pretty well and Prans were fun to talk to(Good to decent gameplay too.) , this game has a similar function and seems quite interesting.


It seems to have nice graphics, but I'm hoping it delivers on Gameplay. I'd love it if someone I respect the opinion of reviewed it. That'd be you, Mike B. Just saying.

Most reviewers I find tend to ass kiss games for graphics and you slammed games with graphics and actually look at GAMEPLAY.

The only difference is I need plot too. But otherwise so far you're one of my favorite reviewers, I'd love to see you do this.

Nice to see a reviewer not an ass kisser.

But I'm assuming you're doing Blade and Soul, but please consider checking this out.
