Fresh off the GDC boat, Fony is slammed with the sudden release of 4.0.1 on the live servers. So, to help you prepare for Cataclysm, he has put together a video checklist of some of the basic changes that have been implemented. He also brings to light some of the gameplay oddities that this patch has introduced, points out unintended symbolism, and does it all while making a sandwich.

You mentioned heirloom gear and price increase. I am not sure how long it will remain but it appears they can still be bought from the champion seal vendor if you have unlocked him. Love the show keep it up I laugh every episode!!

first off: love the episode and the whole show in general.

in response to this episode, i know my guild IS gonna keep raiding, if for no other reason, we're still working on our 4th Shadowmourne and our guy is really close to finishing. When the patch came out we went and did older content (Naxx, the Ulduar weekly, OS3D - 10) to try out the new classes. For the most part, EVERYTHING MELTED BEFORE US!!!!! Almost all the caster classes got a huge dps buff, however a few days later, blizz came around with a large nerf bat and knocked em back down. oh well. All in all, im hearing more ppl in my guild are happy with the changes, and trade chat has new thing to cry and troll about, yay (not really, i hate babies and chat trolls)

I will be finishing up ICC 25 drake achieves and stockpiling gold like an <insert asian ethnicity here> farmer before Cata comes out.

Also, supposedly, the heirlooms are so expensive because they will still be useful come Cataclysm for leveling lowbies to 80, so I guess they are worth more than tier 10 gear.

And to the hunter that said his dps went down... You are doing it wrong. Every hunter I have seen does more dps than they did before. Hell, the pets alone do nearly what you are reporting by themselves.

I will be continuing to play LotRO, because my class was a hunter, and anyone who plays a hunter right now knows, that your previous 8-9k dps you pulled single target, as been reduced to about 3-5 depending on what spec you are.

This review is dead on.

Man I gotta say, at first I didn't really get into BFF report, but now that I've warmed up to it, it's pretty freaking awesome.

Tanking as a prot warrior is really weird now, but I'm moving things around to see what works. Mastery appears to be crap at level 80.

It's really wild to me that blizzard seems to have sort of gimped us into having lvl 80 chars that can't hit the cap they are balanced towards.
