When starting this game planetside 2 I walked up to the terminal to see what I wanted to play. well in Planetside 1 the G key is to open the terminal, in that note I hit G key in Planetside 2 and this glowing ball falls to the floor and i kill 5 friendly players. The ps1 vs ps2 are very different and the Dev's want it this way. but i am enjoying the game play of ps2 and its kinda like battlefield or call of duty type game. yes i play Vanu the purple tights char. :P

The different factions don't look terribly unique from each other, but the impression I get from this review is that they all "feel" differently. I suppose that's good in a way, it encourages players to try everything out at first, taking full advantage of the Free-2-Play aspect.

I was deciding between this and another MMO FPS titled "Firefall" (which also encourages players to try things out to get the "feel") but in the end I liked the Battletech-themed player progression of the other game over this.

This is the first of anything I've seen that really gets into PS2 good, and it looks good. Mike take a look a Babel Rising you get get on Steam.
