Hmmm...I've put in a lot of hours since this game released, and I haven't crashed a single time "while playing" the only crash I've had is the newest weird bug where the game crashes if you use the x in the upper right to close in windowed mode, or choose quit after playing for a long time...maybe check your video drivers/install? I know there is an issue with the latest nVidia drivers...possibly a step back in drivers would help. I'd also check and see whatever else is running in the background while you play...could your video capture (which is directx dependent most like) be causing more crashes than normal? In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say that this has been the most stable lag free MMO I've played since 1999, so that surprises me, and I did check the forums, there are some crash reports, but not nearly as many as I've seen on most other games/as many as you allude to. A non crashing game is desirable, but as a gamer you have to take into account that, unless you play on a console, there may very well be things on one system that Cryptic, or any other company, has NO way of coding around, as that would require omniscience and/or a version of every single piece of hardware ever made for a PC...or access to your own personal computer while writing the game for testing.
First and foremost, to be dorky from the get-go im pretty sure that first image is a "take-off" of Fantastic Four number 1. Marvel has used that image in different ways, with different heroes as an homage to that first issue. So I would not be surprised if there is another even closer, but im pretty sure that was the original design to inspire it.
That sucks that it was not Marvel online.. but maybe its for the best as the game seems to be lacking something. Unless I hear much better reviews elsewhere down the line, this review and not liking City of Heroes much will keep me away from this game. Looks like they just tried to re-create their old game instead of something new.

That sucks that it was not Marvel online.. but maybe its for the best as the game seems to be lacking something. Unless I hear much better reviews elsewhere down the line, this review and not liking City of Heroes much will keep me away from this game.
