Latest Division update delayed after patch proves 'unsuccessful'

Things just keep going wrong for Ubisoft's latest Tom Clancy shooter.

The Division is pretty much a comedy of errors at this point. Since launch, the massively multiplayer online shooter has been plagued with problems, from in-game cheating and griefing to horrible bugs and missing account profiles. Its most recent scheduled maintenance period was terminated early after Massive was "unsuccessful" at deploying the game's latest patch, which was meant to roll out new bug fixes and another challenge mode.

At time of writing, Massive has not yet issued a new target date for a second attempt. "We will share more info on when the patch will be deployed and what it contains as soon as we can," the company said in an announcement, following cessation of maintenance. "Thank you for your patience."

Division players must, indeed, have saintly amounts of patience at this point, given all the game has thrown at them.
